I’m 20 now!

Time flies. Just 2 months ago I was learning how everything works in my workplace and now, I’m in my last week of work. Much more attached to this place maybe because of the people. But I’m happy that I’m leaving because it’s the start of my new school!

It’s gonna be a tough one but yes, I promised to work very hard this time! It’s a must-pass and not fail!

I just realized that it’s been months since I last signed in to MSN. Decided to login last night and I realized that those who used to be online are no longer active. It’s funny when you think back of the past. We used to be obsess with testimonials in Friendster, MSN, Hi-5(not so much but yes) and now, Facebook and Twitter. Although I still login to Facebook but other than seeing photos and reading friend’s updates, there’s nothing much you can do. I get bored of the games after awhile too. And we used to ask our new friends for email to add on MSN but now, we search for them on Facebook or add them on Twitter.

When we advances to new social media platform, it just tells us that we grew older.

GRADUATING IN A WEEK!

Yes! I’m officially graduating in a week. So, I went to collect my graduation robe last week and the place totally pissed me off!! It’s situated like near expressway? And furthermore, I went there myself thus I was lost. I walked back to the train station for 2 times and decided that I will just flag a cab. Guess what? Taxi uncle was also unsure of the place. Lucky I know that it was opposite a fire station and finally reached there after 30-45 mins. After collecting the robe, I couldn’t flag a cab near the bridal studio as it was peak hour time and I continued to walk for a distance. Thank god that I decided not to wear heels to work that day! After walking for a few minutes, I began to realize that I’m lost again. Trying to find someone to ask the way to the train station, I walked around and found one! Before that was all banglars leh, how to ask?! So I asked that lady, “Excuse me, may I know where’s the nearest train station?” She gave me a SHOCK face and immediately asked me where I came from. After knowing the directions, I slowly walked to the train station and it was 15-20 mins walking distance. I swear that the next time when I’m going back to return the robe, there must be someone accompanying me or drive me there!

Thank god for the air-conditioned Ajisan meal after that! :D

My package got lost! It’s one of my favorite item and the most expensive one too. :( Wanted it sooooooo much and it just had to get lost. And it make me wonder where do all the lost mails GONE TO?! If the address is correct, why is it lost? I don’t see having lost government mails or bill. Why does it happen to online shop items only?! Do people in SingPost know that they are blogshop items or what?! I’m so upset about it. It’s the second time. I really love all my K.L trips! Each time I visit there, I will have new places to explore. This time round I went to the market for dinner. Different from those eating places where most tourists will be. Their market is really interesting! They sell sushi in their market and they have a wide variety of fruit juice. What’s more, I get to eat curry fish head for dinner! Who will want to sell curry fish head for one portion in Singapore? No one, unless you are willing to pay for it.

And of course, best of all is DURIAN! Had 猫山王 over there and slowly scroll back to hotel after that. No photos taken this time though.

It was my first time visiting Chinatown during Chinese New Year! And I got to hear the firecracker sound and the fireworks. So while people were busy looking at the fireworks, I quickly walked the whole stretch of stalls. But was still stuck at the junction when walking back. Terrible and horrible human jam. Couldn’t even breathe properly. I guess I was stuck like 20 mins. :/

Weekends is here again! I really really got to cherish my weekends. It seems like the moment you wake up, it will be Monday again~

Anyway, work ended well today although there are some ‘irritating stuff’ towards the end of the day. Lunch was awesome! Went Irodori Japanese Restaurant for lunch buffet with boss and few colleagues. :) Got to rush home for the last episode for Your Hand In Mine! BOO! But *phew* manage to be on time for the show.

OH! It’s 23 DAYS left! :D :D Since the day I’ve started my internship, I hadn’t talk about my daily routine and stuffs that I do during working hours. Basically, everyday I will reach office like around 9.15am (its suppose to be 9am :x). On my computer and off to get breakfast from the cafeteria upstairs. Then proceed on to do my usual checking, testing, uploading and etc… and home sweet home!

The FLU BUG caught me!

It doesn’t feel right from the start I woke up. The next thing I knew was I’m down with running nose and cough. Tissues accompanied me the whole day and attempted to cure it by covering myself with a blanket and took a nap. Feeling so much better now!

Caught Toy Story 3 yesterday. Finally~~~ It was awesome! But the lady sitting 1 seat away from me was really a turn off. Imagine the part where Woody was trying to save all his friends, she was laughing away. Not to mention her laughter sound so unnatural and disturbing. It was meant to be an exciting part of the movie and everyone was soooo engross and her laughter just go on and on.. After the movie, I went to the toilet and guess what? I heard her laughter again! So irritating! But Nevertheless, the movie was really really great!

I can’t wait to watch Despicable Me! :D

HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY, ‘老’朋友！

I’m not laughing at her for being few days older than me or what but it’s because we have been friends for 1,2,3,4…. 13 YEARS! From the time when we were still obsessed with the same group of idol till now discussing about love relationships. Though we don’t talk on phone all the time but at least we meet up like once a few months for shopping or sharing our new experiences. And we can talk almost everything! HAHAS! If I didn’t recalled wrongly, for the whole of 13 years we only quarreled once. How cool can this be!

But sad to say, we didn’t take any photos ever since we went different schools. It’s always a BAD HAIR DAY for us. LOL! I miss the pizza hut in Compass Point. Always went to the SengKang outlet to dine with her (because it’s super near to her house!).

Collected my IT show pay just now. Bugis is really full of ERP traps! Went round and round to find a carpark lot and just got to be really careful with those ERP traps. One wrong turn to the wrong lane and that's it! you are entering an expensive area. Headed down to Kallang Leisure Park for dinner! I’m interested in Olympus EP-1 camera! It has what a DSLR has and it’s definitely lighter than a DSLR.

All the while I’ve been looking for a camera which can take a DSLR quality image and most importantly, not as heavy as a DSLR. This camera sort off fits my requirement. Have yet to take a look at this cammie and of course, the price. Maybe this weekend? hmmm..

For the first time in my entire 18 years of life, I love VESAK DAY. It’s my 1st public holiday during attachment period. Pathetic me only has 2 days of public holiday. Next one will be national day >.< Nearing the end of my attachment though. Last Thursday, met up with Wei Cheng and Shao Min again! Went for Astons. Finally satisfy my cravings. *Yum Yum!* Had Frolick after that. I’m SO hooked on to yogurt! Walked around CBD area and caught Mediacorp filming “Your Hand In Mine” . Kissing scene somemore lehs! Even to the nearest shopping center, you also want to travel by car. Ask yourself this question. When was the last time you travel by public transport for shopping? Was really busy picking up phone calls and I’ve seen how impatient working adults can be and the strong ‘complain-queen/king’ sprit in them. But I’m glad that I have Elaine Pang to accompany me! Super duper blessed that she is around to chat with me to kill our boredom at work although she is in Vietnam. =D She is the one that I always complain to when bad things happen.

Reminder to self:

You shall not be like them in the future when you are out in the working society and don’t trust people whom you just know easily.

Leaving that aside, I’ve been trying to date some awesome people out for dinner~ Hello! Where are you guys? They are either home or doing project. BOO! But nehmind, their stuffs/school work are more important than my small little dinner date. (; Last wednesday, I had a date with Shao Min and Wei Cheng. Went to this Ramen restaurant and TCC to chill out (that’s not the main point. LOL! ). The ramen tasted not bad but not much choices for us so I’ve found another ramen restaurant to try. It’s at Clarke Quay too! Don’t ask me why am I addicted to ramen.

Was google-ling on KOI cafe in the morning when I came across a ‘food’ blog as most of the entries was about food though it is a personal daily life blog. My first week of internship ended! It went well I guess. But note to self: Don't trust or believe anyone easily. And yes, don't judge a book by it's own cover. I just go to be wary of people.

Anyway, I've think that I need to find another entertainment to de-stress after work. Just like last Friday, I went to have dinner with Darling and Pang! :D And pool with them and bandmates. AWESOME!

Internship is starting in a week! 4 months in a new environment. Feeling a little nervous but quite looking forward to it. At least I get to learn new stuff and gain experience (: Lucky for me, I got Felicia to accompany me. We are in the same working place and same department. ;) I guess it's purely coincidence. Didn't expect the school to send the both of us to the same place for interview. But I'm so sure that I can't eat snake (slack) for my internship!

Boo! I shall just enjoy my last week of holidays. I'm gonna miss lots of people especially my dearest friends and of course, food from FC6! Awesome TTM! Here to write this entry while waiting my leg to be very dry before applying medicine and bandaging it. I guess I'm the only one who do it myself even when I'm injured. Since young, my mom said I'm a independent and strong person. Even when there is trouble, I will be facing it and not avoid. Thus, I'm always left alone neither do I stick to my parents a lot. But little do they know, I still need help at times. These few days, my mom had been asking me to get some storage boxes to place my stuffs in it. How can I do it when I can't bring it home alone? And needless to say when I'm injured. Today or rather yesterday, my brother asked me to wait for him at home so that when's he done, he can fetch my mom and I to buy those boxes. The whole day I was looking forward to that but he didn't came back. My second brother came home not long after so I asked him to fetch me there and this time was my mom. She said, "Don't go there la. Waste time." Hey! You were the one who told me to get it. Come to think of it now, I might as well just go there myself and get those boxes. It will be heavy and inconvenience but in the end, I'm still the one who is using it. It doesn't harm to make a few more trips to there if I can't carry it at 1 time. As for the friends part, I thought it through today too. I have 2 groups of friends - poly friends and sec friends. Poly friends... I don't know about how they really feel but they give me a feeling that they think I'm childish or like a small kid. I believe my thinking is much more mature than some of them. Sometimes I really don't feel like talking but to them I'm 'emo-ing'. Hello Friends! I'm not that kind of person! And there is this him. He is my classmate and now, schoolmate. We were once classmates who don't talk to each other then to brother-sister relationship then to (I don't know how to fill this part. I've been wanting to ask him too but I didn't have the courage. I bet he forget it too but this part left me many memories and questionmark.Hug and hold.) Then to cold friends. There was this period where he treated all his friends coldly. Then to a 'listener friend'. He had problems and I listened. Gave him some suggestions but don't know whether it is helpful to him. Then to outing friends now. Often, we go out together. But I'm always the one asking him. Sometimes I wonder does he really want to go out with me cause he always reply me with see lors. Hard to predict what it means but I told myself, if he really didn't want he would say a no. He always say stuffs that are really hurting to me. But I've became a better person. His words always hit me hard. Come to think of it, each time he say hurting stuffs to me, I will end up crying. But at the end of the day, I end up thinking through it. Not only his words, his actions too! I know what to do when someone just walk away. Unforgettable memories. Cleavage is one of the memories too. That was just joking but he didn't realize that. I bet at times he really thought I am those kind of shui bian de girls. Admitting that I like him was the biggest mistake that I ever made. But I didn't regret it cause I find myself brave to admit it and although I know I'm gonna be a laughing-stock among his friends. Not many dare to do it and I did it. Overall, he is really a nice person with high IQ but low EQ at times. hahas! Next up are my 3 darlings! I don't have to say much cause just 3 words is sufficient. I LOVE THEM! :D Alright, time to bandage my leg!

I made 2 ribbon bows today!

The one on the left was done before my mom taught me how to use the sewing machine. It was hand-sewn and worse, the end of the knots were stick with scotch tape. I forgot what I’ve learnt during Home Economics lesson. :x Anyway, it was a good try and I’m looking forward to do more bows! Of course after much practices first. :x I’m starting to think of my next diy project. -.-

Downloaded an interior design application last night and played with it today. Manage to come up with my room design. :D Know what I want to do or have in my room in the future. Now I hope to make it come true!^^

Birthday boy first!

After much procrastination, I finally come up with this post. We were supposed to meet at 7pm but somehow it became 8pm. The usual –band-clique thing. Just get used to it. :x However, half of the group or rather, the girls had already arrived so we went shopping in AMKHUB!

A sales lady came up to us and said, “Sorry! No photography.”

Got what we needed and went outside the shop while waiting for people. As usual, what can you expect a group of girls to do? Of course is cam-whoring! :D

Finally at 8pm, we headed to Jalan Kayu and arrived at Mad Jack Cafe!

While waiting for our food to be serve, the cam-whoring session starts again.

So after 30 minutes, both Elaine and my food was serve up. Finally~

This ‘special’ day totally slipped off my mind and hence, got tricked by her! But after the first one, I’ve became wary of messages that I received. Luckily for me, no more ‘trick’ messages till now. ;)

Got my lappie back too! (: but just as I thought, my lappie went there for a overnight stay only. They didn’t repair anything and my trackpad protector seems a bit weird. It looks like it was teared/peeled out before and 2 bubbles were formed. Nevermind, I shall be forgiving since I’m preparing to change all my protectors.

Another piece of good news! I’ve got my pay! :D Decided that I’m not going to spend it. Seriously. Went to collect it with friends yesterday. Received the message in the late morning and there we are collecting it in the late afternoon. In-charge said we are never punctual for work but was the first group to take pay. Hahas! The most AWESOME thing happened after we got our pay. Finally after a week, I ate ZINGER BURGER – CHICKEN! It was sooooooooo delicious. (You must be thinking it’s just KFC.) But it was really yummy and tasty for a person who didn’t ate chicken for a week! ( A pact I made with the awesome god. (: ) Elaine came to find us while we were in KFC. Pure coincidence. :D With Elaine around, you can forget about Chinese music. FT Island, Big Bang and so on… will come out from her mouth. Walked to CityHall with P while Melany went to find ‘Zhang Guo Rong’. LOL!

Talked about places/restaurants like Dempsey Hill, Chjimes, TGIF~ O.M.G! Just nice all these places/restaurants are the ones that I want to try/go badly! :C (Mister! Faster drive please~)
